Appalachian Grit Co. was born in the hills of West Virginia, where the mountains don't just shape the land-they shape the people too. 

Growing up in the southern parts of West Virginia, we watched generations of hardworking folks rise before dawn, whether it was heading into the mines, tending family farms, or simply holding the line through tough times. That unshakable spirit, the kind that keeps going when the odds are stacked high, that finds beauty in the rugged, and the pride in the simple, is what we call Grit !

We started this brand because we wanted something to wear that said it out loud. "We're proud of where we're from". Not the headlines or the hardships people focus on, but the real story. The strength passed down through coal-dusted hands, front porch stories, Sunday dinners, and the Grit determination to build a life in these valleys.
